The organizer of Bank Expo 2011 exhibition is Central Bank of Uzbekistan. The event was organized at the partnership of Uzbekistan Banking Association, Association of IT organizations of Uzbekistan at official support of the committee of Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan on information-communication technologies.

The exhibition was attended by the commercial banks, financial-credit establishments, microfinance organizations, software companies of Uzbekistan, as well as foreign IT companies.

The exhibition was aimed at informing potential consumers on current state and perspectives of developing banking sector, presenting terms of crediting and rendering banking services, using modern information technologies, etc.

The visitors received information on new technologies and services in the banking-finance sector of Uzbekistan, including on activities of banks, financial organizations, insurance companies, information on e-banking, mobile systems, money transfer systems, video surveillance, security equipment and systems, information technologies for banking and finance institutions, and others.

The exhibition created good opportunity for dialogue among financial institutes, government and regulating bodies of Uzbekistan, as well as meeting international financial institutions and companies, specializing in providing equipment and services for financial markets.

Within the exhibition, the job fair in banking-credit system was held. Over 3,000 job seekers were offered over 1,000 jobs at commercial banks, which attended the exhibition. The fair also included various master classes both for employees and employers.

During the event, Microcreditbank and Aloqabank issued loans to small and private businesses, including to graduates of colleges.

The commercial banks, which participated at the exhibition, were awarded in several nominations. So, People’s Bank was awarded for The Best Innovative Exposition and the Best Advertisement Campaign.

Microcreditbank was named at the Most Visited Exposition and the Best Bank Supporting Graduates of Educational Establishments.

National Bank of Uzbekistan was awarded for the Best Information Exposition, while Alokabank – for the Best Design of Exposition.

UzPromStroyBank was named as the Best Equipped Exposition and Hamkorbank – the Best Regional Bank, while Ipoteka Bank – the Best Person for Serving of Exposition.

Asaka Bank was named as the Best Credit Product and Trust Bank get award for the Best Innovative Product.
