Bank Ipak Yuli, UNIStream discuss expansion of cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of UNIStream led by its President Souren Hayriyan paid a visit to headquarter of the Bank Ipak Yuli in Tashkent on 22 February 2011, the Uzbek bank said in a statement.

The Uzbek bank said that the sides considered issues on expanding mutual beneficial cooperation between the banks.

During the meeting, the sides discussed technical and IT support of transaction on money transfers, as well as terms of functioning of services.

UNIStream International Money Transfer System was launched in 2001. Currently, the system is one of the largest money transfer systems in the world. Its share in the CIS market makes u 25%.

According to the company, the turnover of the system in 2010 made up US$3.92 billion and number of transactions – 6.1 million.

The volume of transactions of UNIStream International Money Transfer System in Uzbekistan made up US$600 million in 2010.
