Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 15 May 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the UN Under-Secretary-General, Head of the Counter-Terrorism Department Vladimir Voronkov.

“We discussed our partnership in ensuring peace and security, current dynamics and effective means of addressing existing and future challenges not only in the region, but throughout the world. We reviewed the successful results of the First Meeting of the Central Asian Regional Expert Council on the Rehabilitation and Reintegration of Repatriates: Cooperation for Peace and Security. We signed a “Road Map” of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UNOCT for 2024-2025,” noted the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan in his telegram channel.
