Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 4 June 2024, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhramjon Aloev held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Mohammad Monirul Islam.

During the meeting, the intention of Uzbekistan and Bangladesh to intensify cooperation in various fields was discussed.

Special attention was given to the development of trade-economic, investment, and tourism ties, as well as to utilizing the existing potential in these areas.

The parties exchanged views on upcoming joint events, including the next round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
