Uzfutsal.uz reported that within the resolution, captain of Uzbekistan mini-football team Bakhodir Akhmedov was conferred rank of “Honoured athlete of Uzbekistan” for his contribution to development of sport.

Bakhodir Akhmedov was born on 9 September 1976. He is four time Uzbekistan champion (DJKA-2001, Ardus 2005-2007). He won Uzbekistan Cup (Soliqchi Chirchiq-1999, DJKA-2001, Ardus 2006-2007).

He started his career at Eks (Chirchiq) team in 1998. He is also winner of Kazakhstan championship and Cup (2002). He won three silver medals of Asian Championship (2001, 2006 and 2010) and twice bronze medals (2005, 2007). He is only futsal player, who participated in all 11 Asian Championship.
