Bahram Davlatov: “We want turn Bunyodkor to level of European top team”
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Supervisory Council of Bunyodkor Football Club appointed Bakhramdjan Davlatov to the post of vice president and director-general of the club.
At this post he replaced Aleksander Shapran, who resigned from his post on own wish.
Bahram Davlatov said that he is studying situation in the club. He added that he did not think for a long time about move and accepted offer after two days.
He said that Bunyodkor is known in Asia and Europe and the club implements large projects. “I was impressed with the project of new complex, which will be commissioned in summer of 2012.”
Bahram Davlatov said that he visited several European clubs and studied their activities. He said that he wants to contribute to development of Bunyodkor to the level of leading European team.
He said: “Task of the team remains same – win the Uzbekistan Championship, Uzbekistan Cup and reach as far as possible in AFC Champions League. We talked with coach Mirdjalal Kaimov and his authorities will be broadened.”
