Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bahitiyor Saidov, held a meeting with Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

During the meeting, they discussed the preparations for the second summit of heads of state of the Strategic Dialogue "Gulf Cooperation Council - Central Asia," scheduled to take place in Samarkand in 2025. They also talked about the composition of delegations and potential areas of cooperation between the two regions.

The summit is expected to be a significant step in strengthening relations between the Gulf Cooperation Council and Central Asia, contributing to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two regions.

An agreement was reached to conduct business forums, cultural events, and to sign several cooperation agreements.
