Uzbekistan claimed a 3-1 victory over Yemen in the match of the Group H in the 2018 FIFA World Cup/2019 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.

Babayan said that the team had quality match and claimed the victory. He expressed gratitude for players for their display. He said that the win is dedicated to all fans.

He said that the match was not easy as Yemen has good defense. Uzbek coach said that 10 people were behind the ball and it was difficult to score. But Uzbekistan controlled the ball and achieved necessary result. He hailed Yemeni coach for his work with team.

Yemen coach Amen Al Sunaini said that he was not able to field optimal team and the team shows poor result. He noted that some players were injured, while some were suspended.

Uzbekistan deserved the victory, he said. Sunaini noted that his team had 3-4 chances to score, but failed to convert them into goals.
