Azerbaijani Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev opens in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The building of the Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev under Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Tashkent reopened following capital reconstruction and renovation.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyayev attended the opening ceremony.

President Ilham Aliyev laid a wreath at the monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev in front of the center.

During the tour of the building, the President was informed that Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijan Statehood history, and Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan joint history museums operate in the center. Aside from these, Azerbaijani music, dance, and folklore ensembles will also serve in the center. Azerbaijani school and a library were also created in here.

Following the tour of the building, President Ilham Aliyev met with the members of Azerbaijani Diaspora.

President Ilham Aliyev viewed an exhibition of works of late Azerbaijani sculptor Eynulla Aliyev, who lived in Samarkand, at the exhibition hall of the center.
