Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 15 December, at 04:15 local time, an aircraft of the Azerbaijani airline Azal landed in Ferghana. 

The Airbus A320 board, which opened a new flight direction: Baku-Ferghana-Baku, was traditionally solemnly greeted with a water arch, and the crew and passengers were greeted to the sounds of karnay and surnay.

It is planned that regular flights will be carried out once a week - on Thursdays.

It is worth noting that Ferghana has become the third city in Uzbekistan where the Azerbaijani air carrier began to fly. Flights from Baku to Tashkent are made on a regular basis twice a week - on Thursdays and Sundays. From Baku to Samarkand - on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
