Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- AYSAF, one of the world’s largest exhibitions for the leather and footwear industry, has launched its activities in Istanbul, Turkiye. The Uzcharmsanoat Association and its member enterprises take an active part in this international exhibition in order to study foreign experience, apply the latest trends in the domestic industry, and search for new partners.

As part of a large-scale expo, representatives of the Uzcharmsanoat Association held a number of fruitful meetings. In particular, the issue of expanding bilateral cooperation in exhibition activities was discussed with the head of the largest exhibition organizer in Portugal, BridgeExpo. The Portuguese side highly appreciated the quality of our products and invited enterprises to participate in the InterShoes exhibition in Portugal. They also discussed ensuring the participation of Portuguese entrepreneurs in the international exhibition UzCharmExpo-ShoesStar-EuroAsia-2023, which will be held in the spring of 2023 in Tashkent. They also talked about attracting partners from the EU, Turkiye, China and India to participate with individual stands at the exhibition in Uzbekistan.

This year, the International Shoe Industry Exhibition-AYSAF, organized by the Association of Shoe Component Manufacturers (AYSAD) and the Artkim Exhibition Complex, brought together 307 exhibitors from 82 countries. More than 1000 brands take part in the exhibition and present their new collection. Within the framework of the next expo, there are also fairs organized by the chemical industry. AYSAF has been serving as a platform for new business transactions for many years and gives participating companies the opportunity to meet with local and foreign guests.

Within the framework of the exhibition, dialogues were held with international companies operating in many areas of the shoe industry. They also expressed great interest in participating in the international exhibition UzCharmExpo -ShoesStar-EuroAsia-2023.

At a meeting with representatives of AYSAD, the organizers of the AYSAF exhibition, the issue of cooperation in exhibition activities was discussed. Proposals for direct participation in exhibitions in Turkiye on favorable terms were studied. The management of the organization was invited to the UzCharmExpo-ShoesStar-EuroAsia-2023 exhibition. The Turkish side expressed readiness for cooperation in this direction. The representatives of the Association were presented with a database of member enterprises.

Meanwhile, representatives of our enterprises also participate in various master classes, presentations and seminars and get acquainted with the trends of the coming year. Negotiations are also underway with large enterprises producing equipment for the industrial production of leather and footwear products.
