The award was established in 2013. This year, 75 candidates competed for the award in 2014.

In line with the decision of the jury, the film “Geolog” was named as the best film of the year. Mirza Azizov and Asal Shodieva were named as the best actor and actress of 2014 respectively.

Lola Eltoyeva and Umirbay Kosimbetov received awards for the best actress and actor of the theatre. Valeriy Yenin became the best painter of 2014.

Munisa Rizaeva won in the nomination “The best female pop singer of the Year”, while Ulugbek Rakhmatullaev – “The best male pop singer of the Year”. Sharq bank won in the nomination “The most active group, ensemble and orchestra of the Year”.

Odilbek Matchanov was named as the best craftsman, Joldasbek Kuttimuratov – the best sculptor, Musahon Nurmatov – the best composer, the best ballet-master – Rushana Sultanova, the best dance – Shodiyora Omonova, Begzod Abdurakhmanov – the best athlete and Aleksandr Kim – the best coach.

The play Oydin became the winner in nomination “The best play of the Year”.
