Aviation authorities of Uzbekistan and Turkey ink memorandum
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Aviation authorities of Uzbekistan and Turkey held negotiations in Ankara, Turkey, on 29-30 November 2011 with the participation of appointed airlines to discuss further developing bilateral cooperation in air communication.

State Aviation Supervision Inspection said that the sides discussed issues of increasing frequency of flights between Tashkent and Istanbul, introduction of changes and amendments to bilateral agreement on air communication from 23 June 1994 and signing of code-sharing agreement between assigned airlines.

The sides also considered issues of issuing and work permits to employees of Turkish Airlines Office in Tashkent and assistance in transfer its incomes, received from rendering services in Uzbekstan, as well as deepening bilateral mutual beneficial cooperation in air communication.

In the result of the talks, the sides achieved agreements on all discussed issues and the sides signed a memorandum of understanding.

The document was signed by deputy head of the State Aviation Supervision Inspection of Uzbekistan Oleg Lim and Director-General of General Civil Aviation Direction of the Ministry of Transport and Communication of Turkey Bilal Eksi.
