Auto marathon “Tashkent - Termez – Aral” to be held

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 18 September 2020, an interesting adventure starts - the Tashkent-Termez-Aral autorathon, which will pass across the country and will end on 28 September.

The route of the rally runs from Termez and Amudarya in the southeast, and to the Aral Sea in the northwest. The car marathon starts in the city of Tashkent, the route will run through Zaamin, Samarkand, Shakhrisabz, Baysun, Denau, Termez, Bukhara, Khiva, Nukus, Muynak and will end on the shores of the Aral Sea.

Participants of this interesting car marathon on the way will see the healing juniper forests of Zaamin, the Sangardak waterfall gushing out of the rock in thousands of jets, mountain passes and serpentines, Boysun canyons, the majestic walls of the Khoja Gur Gur Ota karst massif, the thousand-year-old Sayrob plane tree, the unique Jarkurgan minaret of Termeza, Buddhist minaret UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Shakhrisabz, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, the unique Savitsky Museum in Nukus, the huge snow-white salt marsh Barsa-Kelmes, the Kyzylkum sands, the ancient fortresses of Khorezm and Karakalpakstan, the ship graveyard in Muynak and much more.

They will also watch birds on Lake Sudochie, live like ancient nomads in a real yurt, enjoy a magical sunset on the Aral Sea, get acquainted with the folklore of different regions of Uzbekistan.

The whole journey is made up in the form of a quest, and the participants will not have to get bored moving from one point to another. This truly epic 4,600 km rally is open to travelers and adventurers, history and culture lovers.

Those, who do not have their own vehicles, will be able to rent a car with a driver or rent a car. In addition, you can join the rally anywhere on the road. The auto marathon is held by the travel companies of Uzbekistan "Advantour" and "Asia Adventures" with the support of the State Committee for Tourism Development.
