Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Agency for State Asset Management of Uzbekistan (AUGA) has initiated the privatization process of the state shares in the companies Avtokomponent (98.8%) and Auto Climate Control (100%).

Portfolio Investments is acting as the consultant for both transactions.

The sale process will be conducted in two stages. In the first stage, interested parties can submit their expressions of interest by 18:00 Tashkent time on 20 September.

In the second stage, candidates will be required to submit binding offers and make a deposit of 1% of their proposed price.

The buyer is obligated to maintain the business profile of the enterprises for 10 years and not reduce the workforce for 2 years following the transaction.

Founded in 2010, Avtokomponent LLC specializes in the production of profiles, mufflers, exhaust systems, and round tubes for automobiles. The company's charter capital is 969.5 million soums.

Auto Climate Control, also founded in 2010, specializes in the production of automotive heating and cooling systems. Its charter capital amounts to 12.59 billion soums.
