The National Association of Investment Institutions (NAII) jointly with Ansher Capital and Ansher Fund Management organized the event. The event was aimed at informing business circled on the latest trends and methods of attracting institutional investors in Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the participants of the seminar considered issues on investing in Uzbekistan and the Central Asian region as whole. It was noted that Central Asia is attractive for foreign investors.
James Morton, managing partner of CIM Investment, said the region possesses vast potential and investment opportunities to promote interest of foreign investors. NAII is a non-government self-regulation organization, with more than 70 members (local and foreign companies), including exchanges, investment institutions, banks, insurance companies, large industrial, transport and other enterprises.
