Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 8 to 17 July, the next World Para-Athletics Championship was held in Paris. The national team of Uzbekistan successfully performed in it, which won 17 awards of various denominations (6 gold, 7 silver and 4 bronze).

Thanks to this result, the domestic delegation took 8th place in the team standings. Another important point is that brave and courageous athletes during the competition won 19 tickets to the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.

The XVII Paralympic Summer Games will be held from 28 August to 8 September 2024 in the capital of France - the city of Paris. About 4,400 athletes will take part in the Games, who will compete for 549 medals.
