Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the 48th plenary meeting of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the issue of introducing changes to the composition of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan was also considered and a corresponding Senate resolution was adopted.

Aaccording to resolution, Elza Shamsutdinova was elected to the position of judge of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan for a period of ten years, Anvar Elmuradov - for an indefinite period, Bakhodir Ergashev - for a period of ten years.

Along with this, Bobir Islamov, Otabek Mamajanov, Sherzod Mirzakhakimov, Doniyorjon Tojiboev, Firuz Tursunov, Fakhriddin Khalilov, Sherzod Sherkulov and Khurshid Eshmuratov were relieved of their positions as judges of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
