The report said that net income of the bank grew 2.1 times to 12.693 billion soums.
The loan portfolio of Uzpromstroybank grew by 12.2% to 1.443 trillion soums, liabilities – by 21.4% to 1.752 trillion soums. The deposits volume rose from 779.96 billion soums to 1.027 billion soums.
Uzpromstroybank’s own capital decreased by 2.3% to 152.4 billion soums, the bank’s report said.
The equity capital of the bank rose from 124.256 billion soums in 2009 to 125.491 billion soums in 2010.
Uzpromstroybank was founded in 1922 and re-registered in 1991. Its main area of work is crediting enterprises of strategic sectors of industry. Main shareholders are Finance Ministry of Uzbekistan (35%) and Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan (26%).
