Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 1 August 2018, the assets of commercial banks in Uzbekistan made up 187.08 trillion soums, which is 76.9% higher compared to the same period of 2017.
Credit investments of banks in Uzbekistan increased by 91.6% in the reporting period and made up 137.76 trillion soums as of 1 August 2018.
The volume of deposited deposits as of 1 August 2018 exceeded 65.23 trillion soums, which is 54.5% higher compared to the same period of 2017.
The aggregate capital of commercial banks of Uzbekistan as of 1 August 2018 reached 23.66 trillion soums, which is 118.1% more compared to the same period of 2017.
The National Bank of Uzbekistan (50.67 trillion soums or 27.1% of all assets of the banking sector of Uzbekistan), Asaka Bank (26.13 trillion soums or 14%) and Uzpromstroybank (25.24 trillion soums or 13.5%) became the leaders in terms of assets.
These same banks were leading in terms of loans. The National Bank of Uzbekistan extended loans to 38.45 trillion soums (27.9% of the total volume of loans), Uzpromstroybank - 21.93 trillio. (15.9%) and Asaka Bank - 20.26 trillion soums (14.7%).
The National Bank of Uzbekistan (5.5 trillion soums or 23.3% of the total capital), Asaka Bank (3.12 trillion soums or 13.2%) and Uzpromstroybank (2.29 trillion soums or 9.7% of total capital) also entered the top three in terms of capital.
The National Bank of Uzbekistan (11.56 trillion soums or 17.8% of the total volume of attracted deposits), Asaka Bank (7.18 trillion soums or 11%) and Uzpromstroybank (4.48 trillion soums, or 6.9%) entered the Top-3 in terms of attracted deposits.
