Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  The press service of JSC "Regional Electric Networks" has announced the appointment of a new company head.

According to the agency’s information, Asrorjon Askarov has been appointed acting Chairman of the Board of JSC "Regional Electric Networks."

Prior to this, he served as the Deputy Chairman for Economics and Finance at the company.

In his new role, he succeeds Ulugbek Mustafayev, who was appointed acting Khokim (Governor) of Jizzakh region. Mustafayev had led "Regional Electric Networks" since 2019, and prior to that, from 2017, he headed "Uzbekenergo."
