Asian U15 and U17 Boxing Championship opens in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —A ceremonial opening of the Asian Boxing Championship for junior athletes in the U15 and U17 age categories took place in Tashkent. The competition is being held at the Olympic City complex and has gathered participants from across the continent.

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of Asian Boxing, the Ministry of Sports of Uzbekistan, the National Olympic Committee, and the country’s Boxing Federation. In their speeches, officials emphasized the importance of the tournament for the development of youth sports and expressed support for all participants.

It was noted that more than 500 young boxers from 21 Asian countries are taking part in the championship.

The tournament is considered one of the key continental competitions in these age categories and provides athletes with an opportunity to demonstrate their skills on the international stage.
