Economy 09/09/2009 Asaka Bank offers four textile plants for investors

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- State joint-stock commercial bank Asaka (Asaka Bank) invited investors and buyers to participate in investing or buy shares in charter capital of textile enterprises, founded with the participation of the bank.

Asaka Bank proposed to invest or buy four enterprises in various parts of Uzbekistan. The bank said it offers at least five percent at charter capital of Bertex (Karakalpakstan). The authorized capital is 11 billion soums.

Investors should undertake obligation at least for US$500,000 within a year to modernize and re-equip enterprise. Bertex project capacity is 2,270 tonnes of cotton yarn and 1,000 tonnes of stockinet.

The bank offers to investors textile enterprise Nafis Libos in Syrdarya region with the capacity of 7.05 million units of ready-made garments. The investors can preliminary buy 5% at the enterprise with the charter capital of 2.4 billion soums. The investors should undertake investment obligation at least for US$200,000 within a year.

Khazorasp Textile, located in Khorezm region, is another enterprise, offered to the investors. The enterprise can produce 2,400 tonnes of cotton yarn.

The bank said investors can purchase at least 5% share in the charter capital of the plant. The charter capital of the enterprise is 8 billion soums. Investors should invest at least US$400,000 within a year.

Investors can also invest into Glotex Business, located in Tashkent city. The plant can produce 15 million pairs of sport socks, 9.352 million T-shirts, 3.7 million pairs of panty-hoses and 13.6 million units of shorts.

The bank said investors can purchase at least 5% share in the authorized capital of enterprise, which makes up 15.1 billion soums. About US$500,000 should be invested into the enterprise within a year.
