Asaka Bank issues loans to small businesses for 303.1bn soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
State joint stock commercial bank “Asaka” issued loans for 303.1 billion soums to small businesses and private entrepreneurship in the first half of 2012, which help to create 13,600 new jobs.
Asaka Bank issued loans for 2.4 billion soums to 500 citizens within the implementation of the presidential resolution “On measures on stimulating growth of head of cattle in personnel auxiliary, dehkan and farm entities” from 23 March 2006.
The bank also financed projects on increasing number of cattle. The bank financed 55 projects and issued loans for 4.7 billion soums.
Asaka Bank also supported farmers to finance purchase of equipment. The bank issued 5.4 billion soums as leasing and loans to purchase 38 equipment.
The bank also financed 20 projects worth 23 billion soums to develop poultry in Uzbekistan and 64 billion soums to expand production of food products and expansion of internal market.
In line with implementation of the presidential resolution “On additional measures on stimulating expansion of production of local non-food consumer goods”, the bank allocated 69.9 billion soums.
