Asaka Bank and Korean banks ink agreements for US$695m
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- State joint stock commercial bank “Asaka” signed financial agreements with the Korean banks for US$695 million.

According to the press service of the bank, the delegation of Asaka Bank visited Seoul (South Korea) and participated in the Uzbek-Korean Business Forum. The delegation was led by Kahramon Aripov, chairperson of the board of Asaka Bank.

In particular, Asaka Bank and The Export-Import Bank of Korea inked additional agreement to two-stage agreement for long-term financing of investment projects with participation of Korean companies for US$25 million.

Asaka Bank and Korea Exchange Bank signed a framework agreement for US$100 million. The Uzbek bank and The Export-Import Bank of Korea also inked a framework agreement for US$500 million.

Addition to memorandum of understanding between Asaka Bank and SMBC was also signed. The document will allow to carry out operations on supply of goods and services from Korea for US$70 million.

According to Asaka Bank, these resources will be directed to finance investment projects with participation of the Korean companies.
