Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek para-taekwondo athlete Asad Toshtemirov won a gold medal at the Paralympic Games in Paris.

Asad Toshtemirov competed in the under-80 kg weight category in the K44 class. Despite a leg injury, he triumphed in the final match against Luis Najero of Mexico.

This gold medal is the fourth for the Uzbekistan team at the Paralympics. In addition to four gold medals, Uzbek athletes have also won two silver and three bronze medals.
