As a result of a fire in a grain field, more than 118 million soums were damaged

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Reports circulated on social networks that the remnants of stubble were burned in Chinaz on plots of land empty of grain. Employees of the Ministry of Ecology and the Department of Ecology of Tashkent region studied the situation at the scene.

In the course of the study, it was found that 11.6 hectares of stubble residues were burned on a wasteland belonging to the farm "CHINOZ TOʻYCHIYEV SARDOR DALASI", located along the M-39 highway, passing through the territory of the Tillatopgan MSG of Chinazsky district. As a result, 17 mulberry trees planted in a row on the border of the field were damaged to such an extent that they could no longer grow.

As a result, it turned out that 20 mulberry trees planted in rows at the border of the field were damaged, and 11 trees were damaged to such an extent that they could no longer grow.

The head of the farm A.Yu. wrote a written explanation that the remnants of straw were burned in a field freed from the grain of the land belonging to the farm.

In addition, according to Annex 4 to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 464 from 22 August  2022, the damage to the flora amounted to 73,590,000 (seventy-three million five hundred ninety thousand) soums.

Humus and nitrogen were lost in the soil, soil fertility was disturbed, the plant world was damaged by 16,830,000 soums. The total amount of damage, including dead trees, amounted to 118,082,896 soums.

The documents collected during the study were transferred to the district prosecutor’s office for a legal assessment.
