Opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by over 200 people, including students of schools and institutes, administration of Yangzhou, Foreign Affairs Department, etc.

The event was organized by Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Shanghai, Shanghai Overseas Friendship Association, Shanghai Library, Fund Forum, and Uzbekistan Art Academy.

The exhibition presented 70 paintings of such authors as Akmal Nur, Marat Sadikov, Gafur Kadirov, Fazylla Ahmadaliev, Hurshid Ziyahanov and Muhtar Isanov. Some of paintings are dedicated to the Uzbek-Chinese relations.
