Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A trilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in Tashkent between the China E-Commerce Chamber (CECC), the association “Uzeltechsanoat,” and Artel Electronics.

The agreement was reached during the visit of the CECC delegation led by President Wang Ning. Participating in the negotiations were also Mirziyod Yunusov, Chairman of “Uzeltechsanoat,” and Jahongir Artikhojaev, founder of Akfa Group.

The parties discussed prospects for expanding economic and technological cooperation between Uzbekistan and China. The outcome of the meeting was the signing of a memorandum covering electronics, electrical engineering, and high-tech sectors.

The document provides for the development of production capacities in Uzbekistan, implementation of joint innovative projects, introduction of modern technologies, and activation of research and development activities. In addition, the agreement aims to expand export markets, strengthen international cooperation, and launch new investment initiatives.

The signed memorandum is expected to form the basis for long-term partnership and elevate Uzbekistan’s electrical engineering sector to a new level.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Wang Ning highlighted the country’s favorable investment climate and confirmed the readiness of CECC members to actively participate in joint projects.
