Artel launched its first mobile handsets line with such smartphones as Artel Adi5 and Artel Komi 3, as well as mobile handsets Artel U30, Artel H20 and Artel D83. The company said it will start to sell handsets on 20 December 2012.

According to Artel, handsets can compete with foreign analogues with their functions, technologies and modern design. At the same time, Artel handsets have special additions, specially created for users of Uzbekistan.

Nodirberk Ibragimov, Artel managing director, said that the capacity of the unit on production of mobile phones makes up 2 million units a year. He said that the company plans to produce 40,000 handsets in 2012 and 500,000 units in 2013.

Artel Adi5

Ibragimov underlined that production capacities of Artel are based on advanced technologies, manufactured in Japan, Germany, South Korea and other countries. The company also uses components and spare parts, imported from Japan, China, Taiwan, South Korea, and other states, in production of mobile phone.

Nodirbek Ibragimov said peculiarities of Artel mobile phones are installed Uzbek and Russian languages, ordinary and special ringtones with oriental motives, screensavers and wallpapers in national spirit. He said that the price of the devices will be cheaper by 30% and over based on model of handset.

“Artel guarantees quality of mobile phones and provides free service within a year across Uzbekistan, Ibragimov stated.

Artel Komi3

Artel trademark is planning to cooperate with famous brand as Foxconn in development and production of mobile handsets and tablets. He recalled that Foxconn successfully cooperates with Nokia, Motrolla, Apple and others.

Ibragimov concluded that Artel is planning to launch new improved models of mobile phones, which will be worthy additions to existing ones.

Smartphones Artel Adi5 works under Android 4 operation system. It is equipped with four inch WVGA display with resolution of 480x800 pixels. It also has 5 megapixel camera with LED flash.

Artel Adi5 has MSM 8225 1,2 Ghz processor, 1.32 Gb internal memory and 512 Mb operative memory. It has also slot for 4 Gb memory card. The smartphone supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900 Mhz, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS.

Artel U30

Second smartphone Artel Komi 3 runs Android 2.3.6 operating system and supports GSM 900/1800 Mhz, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS standards. The handset can work with two sim-cards. The display’s size is 3.5 inches (HVGA) with resolution of 640x480 pixels. The handset has 5 megapixel camera.

Artel Komi 3 is equipped with MSM 6515M 1 Ghz processor and has 512 Mb internal memory and 256 Mb operative memory. It has also slot for 4 Gb memory card.

Mobile handset Artel U30 is dual-sim card phone, which works on GSM 900/1800 Mhz, as well as 3G and Bluetooth standards. The display size is 2.2 inches and has 2 megapixel camera. It has 512 Mb internal memory, which can be increased by 2 GB with memory card.

Artel H20

Mobile phone Artel H20 supports such standards as GSM 850/900/1800/1500 Mhz and Bluetooth. It has 2.4 inch display and 2.4 megapixel camera. It has 128 Mb internal memory, which can be increased by 2 GB with memory card.

Handset Artel D83 works on GSM 900/1800 standards. The display size is 1.77 inches. The device is equipped with 0.8 megapixel camera. It has 64 Mb of internal memory and 32 Mb of operative memory.
