The organizers said that Art Week Style.uz is attracting more and more professionals and art experts worldwide and it becomes public project, platform for creative experiments and growth of active youth, exchange of ideas.

Art Week Style.uz-2012 includes four large scale events. The organizers said that to ensure convenience to visitors and ensure maximum openness, the dates of the project were extended and new premises were included to host the events, as well as additional places were allocated to creative youth, designers and musicians.

The event will be opened with the Second International Cinema Forum “Golden Guepard”, which will be held from 30 September to 5 October. This year, it is expected that it will be spectacle event for cinema admirers and platform for professionals to communicate, exchange ideas and creative experiments.

The Third International theatre festival “Theatre.Uz/2012” will take place from 1 to 7 October in Tashkent. Theatres from Uzbekistan, Bulgaria, Russia, Israel, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan will participate at the festival. It is planned to hold master classes with German, British and Israeli theatre workers.

The Sixth international Tashkent photo biennale “TashkentALE-2012” will present over 20 exhibitions of photography masters from 4 to 9 October 2012. It will be attended by 200 representatives of 35 states, including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Israel, Iran, India, Russia, France, Uzbekistan, Italy, USA, Romania, etc.

Art Week Style.uz 2012, which will present the best samples of national heritage and contemporary Uzbek art, as well as international art, will be held on 4-9 October. The event will include exhibition of classic and modern painters, master classes of British fashion colleges, global brands of fashion, art and design. The event will include charity gala diner to support women with breast cancer, charity auctions and concerts, roundtables, etc. As usual, Art Week Style.uz 2012 will present Underground fashion show.
