Argentinean official said the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov to Brazil became, by all means, an important political and economic event, this is a new qualitative stage in interrelations between Latin American region and CIS.

He said the visit to Brazil shows respect to Latin America and it opens Central Asia to the region and significantly attracts attention to Uzbekistan as the country, which connect Latin America and Central Asia.
