Fund Forum, UNESCO Office in Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Today news agency and National Association of Electronic Mass Media of Uzbekistan organized the event.

The conference was aimed at familiarizing its participants with the results of studies and preparation of book “Masterpieces of architecture epigraphy”, and presentation of the published books.

The conference participants familiarized with book “Masterpieces of architecture epigraphy”, which was dedicated to scripts at the monuments of Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Kashkadarya, Karakalpakstan, Andijan, Ferghana, and the book “Samples of eastern calligraphy and miniatures art”, published in 2009.

At the same time, the conference participants discussed actions, which should be adopted to study scripts at the historic and architecture monuments.
