Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The dynamically developing educational institution of higher education, the Almalyk branch of the University of Science and Technology MISIS, is launching another Admission Company for the 2023/2024 academic years.

This year, the rules for admission to the Branch have changed slightly. Now applicants have the opportunity to become students of the Moscow site of NUST MISIS and study at the expense of the budget of the Russian Federation. To do this, you must submit documents to the selection committee before 11 July 2023.

Applications from applicants are accepted online and offline. Applicants wishing to study at NUST MISIS in Moscow must personally (offline) submit documents to the admission committee of the NUST MISIS AF until 11 July 2023 inclusive, and applicants wishing to study at the Almalyk branch of NUST MISIS can submit documents as offline and online at any time until 20 July.

There is the first entrant - it was Alina Savvateeva, who passed the documents in the direction of the ACCI. As the first applicant of the 2023 admission campaign, she was presented with memorable gifts with the logo of the University.

Getting an education in one of the branches of the leading scientific and educational center of the Russian Federation, you become the owner of a University diploma showing the best results in various rating agencies. The diploma of the University, which is received by the graduates of the Branch, is certified all over the world.

Special disciplines are taught by the professorial staff of the leading educational institutions of the Russian Federation, and in addition, more than 70% of the faculty of the Branch have PhD and Doctor of Science degrees, which is the highest figure in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

This year it is planned to accept 200 full-time students and 150 part-time students. The admission of students will be distributed in the following areas:

- Mining - 70 people for the full-time department (of which 28 at the expense of the budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan) and 50 for the correspondence department;

- Metallurgy - 70 people for the full-time department (of which 28 at the expense of the budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan) and 50 for the correspondence department;

- Automation of technological processes and production - 60 people for the full-time department (24 of them at the expense of the budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan) and 50 for the correspondence department;

Entrance examinations will be held in two stages. The first stage will be held in July: on 13 July - mathematics, on 14 July  - physics, on 17 July  - Russian language. Applicants of only the first stage, who have successfully passed the entrance examinations, will be recommended for admission to the head university.

It should be noted that when enrolling in the Branch, the results of entrance examinations of both the first and second stages of entrance examinations will be taken into account.

All the necessary information about admission: a list of documents for each direction, the schedule of entrance exams, a link for submitting documents online, admission rules, programs of disciplines included in the entrance examinations, ticket samples, etc., can be found on the official website of the NUST MISIS AF » misis.uz.

Those who submit documents from 11 to 20 July and score the required number of points will study at the Almalyk branch of NUST MISIS. Entrance exams for them will be held in August: on 7 August - Physics, on 9 August  - Mathematics, on 11 August  - Russian. 

Exams will be held in the classrooms of the educational building of our university. The time will be announced later: it will depend on climatic conditions.
