Another tourist charter train arrived at the Tashkent Central Railway Station

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 6 September, another tourist charter train arrived at the Central Railway Station of Tashkent, which began moving on 3 September from Almaty.

Fruitful work is being carried out in our country to develop tourism, provide a high level of transport and service services to tourists visiting our country. In particular, in 2013, the tourist charter train "Orient Silk Road Express" was launched in cooperation with the joint-stock company "Uzbekistan Temir Yollari" and the German travel company "Lernide Edalebnisrisen". Over the past 10 years, more than 80 tourist charter trains have been launched, which served about 10 thousand foreign tourists.

About 100 tourists from 14 countries of the world travel on this train through the countries of Central Asia.

Currently, the train "Orient Silk Road Express" runs on the route "Alma-ata - Bishkek - Tashkent - Kokand - Kamashi - Kitap - Samarkand - Khujand - Khiva - Bukhara - Tashkent - Bukhara - Khiva - Khujand - Samarkand - Kitap - Kamashi - Kokand - Tashkent - Bishkek - Alma-ata". It serves tourists from countries such as Austria, Malaysia, Switzerland, Germany, England, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Canada, Indonesia and Ireland.

The train consists of 12 main cars and 1 spare. That is, 4 luxury cars (8 seats each), 4 cars with their own luxury shower (16 seats), 2 restaurant cars, 1 staff car.

When moving from car to car, the situation changes: interior, dishes, kitchen in a restaurant, etc. In one of the cars, there are bowls with “cotton” ornament on the table, and in the other car there are bowls decorated with Russian traditional patterns.

All wagons are decorated in the national style. In the locally produced carriages, the walls are decorated in the style of Uzbek miniatures, there are adras curtains on the windows, and red carpets with oriental motifs underfoot. In addition, each car has a TV, lockers for clothes, a toilet and other essentials.

Tourists arriving in our country on this tourist charter train visit the historical cities of our country for 9 days. After that, they leave for neighboring countries.
