Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Former Manchester United and Russian national team midfielder Andrei Kanchelskis was appointed as head coach of Navbahor football club.

According to the press service of the clubs, the parties signed a contract until the end of 2018. At the same time, the club may extend the contract with a Russian specialist for another year.

At this post, Kanchelskis replaced Ilkhom Muminjanov, who was coaching the club since 2016.

Navbakhor will hold its first match under management of the new coach against Bukhara at home on 20 October 2018.
