Pakhtakor Taskent faced current cup holders Bunyodkor Tashkent, who was favorites to win the trophy before the match.

The match started with attacks of both sides, but Bunyodkor defender Khayrullo Karimov was sent off by the referee. However, Bunyodkor continued to attack to find opener.

Uzbekistan U-20 defender Murad Khalmukhamedov threw the ball from the right line to goal area, after mistakes of defender Stanislav Andreev sent the ball to the net.

Pakhtakor won its 10th Uzbekistan Cup.
