Andijan Region Launches New Tourism Routes

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Special one-day and two-day tourism programs have been developed in Uzbekistan’s Andijan region to expand domestic and inbound tourism and promote the region’s historical, cultural, and natural potential, according to the press service of the Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The new routes are designed to allow tourists to become more familiar with the region’s rich historical heritage, pilgrimage sites, national traditions, and unique natural landscapes.

The programs cover sacred sites, museums, cultural and historical landmarks, modern tourist complexes, and recreation areas located in Pakhtaobod district, Jalakuduk district, as well as the cities of Andijan and Khanabad.

During the tours, visitors will be able to explore national values, handicraft traditions, and local culinary specialties. Conditions have also been created for comfortable outdoor recreation, visits to historical attractions, and immersion in the cultural atmosphere of the region.

It is noted that the implementation of the new tourism programs will contribute to promoting the tourism potential of Andijan region, increasing tourist flows, and forming an attractive image of the region in both domestic and international markets.
