Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the results of the employer brand perception study “The Talentist”, the most significant benefits for candidates that an employer can provide are: compensation for travel to the place of work - 73.8%, medical insurance - 72.7 %, travel insurance – 72.4% and additional days off – 72.3%.

It is important to note that men, compared to women, show greater interest in providing benefits. People with higher education are more interested in training or compensation for additional training than others - according to the study, 11.7% of employers provide such an option.

The benefits that employers provide most often are additional days off (18.3%), catering (13.7%), financial assistance (12.7%) and health insurance (13%).

“Not only high salaries can motivate modern personnel to work productively. Investing in the right benefits plays a key role in attracting and retaining highly qualified specialists, ensuring the company’s competitiveness in the labor market,” Oksana Tkachenko, Director of Recruitment, ANCOR Uzbekistan, said.

During the survey, ANCOR Uzbekistan found out whether employees now need additional support from employers and what kind. 67% of respondents noted the need for support from employers. 17% of people noted that they do not need support and 16% of respondents found it difficult to answer. Among those who need additional support from their employer, 20% of employees responded that assistance in purchasing/paying for housing from their employer is most important to them. 19% of people pay attention to the provision of medical services and financial advice. 18% are interested in the ability to choose a work mode that suits them.

Correlation between age and people’s needs

The survey showed that young professionals aged 16 to 24 are more interested in financial assistance in difficult life situations - 69.7%; 12.7% of companies provide this option. Compensation for travel to work is a priority for 69.3% of people of this age; 10% of companies provide this opportunity to their employees. In third place in the preferences of 69.2% of young people are additional days off and discounts on company products, 18.3% of companies provide additional days of rest and 10.5% give discounts on company products. Young employees more often than others note that the employer also provides training and compensation for additional education, as well as discounts on company products.

For workers aged 25 to 34 years, health insurance is important; 73.1% of respondents noted this option. Compensation or catering is important for 72.9%. And 72.8% of workers noted compensation for travel to their place of work.

People over 35 years of age are most interested in compensation for travel to their place of work – 77%. Additional days off are important for 75.6% of specialists. Travel insurance was mentioned by 75% of people in this age group. Interestingly, people over the age of 35 are more likely than others to be interested in compensation for sports activities (72.6%) - 7.8% of companies provide this option.
