Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The National Association of Electronic Mass Media of Uzbekistan and the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the Development of Tourism announced the holding of an international competition for the best social video in the nomination “Traveling in Uzbekistan”. Television and film studios, independent participants and bloggers can take part in the competition.

The competition is held as part of the 25th Tashkent International Tourism Fair, organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the Development of Tourism.

Participants can send one or more videos in the following main categories - “Welcome to Uzbekistan”, “Cultural and historical Uzbekistan” and “Gastronomic tourism in Uzbekistan”. The number of videos from one participant is not limited.

The winners who took 1st place in the nominations will be awarded with cash prizes in the amount of 15,000,000 soums, for 2nd place - 10,000,000 soums, for 3rd place - 5,000,000 soums, and the Grand Prix holder will receive a Spark car. The contest organizers also provide additional nominations in the areas of "Ecological tourism of Uzbekistan", "MICE tourism in Uzbekistan", "Ziyorat-tourism of Uzbekistan", "Medical tourism of Uzbekistan", "Ethnic tourism of Uzbekistan", "Agrotourism of Uzbekistan", "Culture of behavior in society" , “Common Territories of Uzbekistan” and “Security in Uzbekistan”.

To participate in the competition, you must submit your work to the National Association of Electronic Mass Media of Uzbekistan and the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the Development of Tourism by November 5, 2019. The winners of the competition in three main categories will be selected by the competent jury via online voting during the tourism fair.

The ceremonial awarding of the finalists of the competition will take place at the NEC “Uzexpocenter” on 14 November 2019.
