Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Under the coordination of the Samarkand regional division of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade in Narpay district of Samarkand region, a modern capacities for the production of various types of paper used in industry was launched.

The cost of the project implemented by NBA ALLIANZ LLC is US$13 million, of which US$5.5 million is foreign direct investment. This project, which is also part of the localization program for the production of imported products, is designed to produce 30,000 tons of various export-oriented types of cardboard per year. At the same time, export volumes will amount to at least $5 million.

As a result of the launch of the project, 80 new jobs were created. In the first quarter of 2023, the company plans to expand its activities and create an additional 70 new jobs.
