The arrest occurred while receiving a bribe in the amount of US$22,500. Up to this point, he managed to receive US$7,500.

A criminal case has been initiated against him under Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which provides for liability for taking a bribe. The official was placed in custody.
