Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to ensure the fulfillment of the tasks set in the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to reform the public transport system", the best practices of foreign countries are being studied, the press service of the Ministry of Transport reported.

In particular, the head of the transport department of the Khorezm region R. Babayev, during a working trip to the People’s Republic of China with the participation of entrepreneurs involved in passenger transportation, got acquainted with the activities of the center providing public transport services in the city of Liaochan. The conditions under which the dispatching service of the bus garage and the maintenance of buses were organized were studied.

Also, during the visit with the engine manufacturer Weichai Power Co., Ltd, an agreement was reached on cooperation to provide regular services to 100 new buses that will be delivered to the Khorazm region.
