Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A traffic accident occurred in Beruniy district of Karakalpakstan involving a Nexia 3 car, in which there were about 10 children from a private kindergarten.

The incident occurred around 9:55 a.m. on 19 June on highway 4R161. The Nexia 3 car left the road and ran over the concrete sidewalk, after which it collided with a Gentra car, which was on the side of the road and entered the roadway.

As a result of the incident, the driver of the Nexia and two children aged 6 and 3 years old were injured and were taken to a local medical facility. Their condition is assessed as satisfactory.

A criminal case has been initiated under Part 1 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code related to violation of traffic safety rules or operation of a vehicle, which led to moderate or severe bodily injury.

As part of the investigation, a legal assessment will be carried out of the actions of the driver of Nexia 3, who carried more passengers than allowed, as well as the driver of Gentra U.K., who violated the rules when starting to move.
