American analyst: Putin’s visit to Uzbekistan was successful

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The states of Central Asia behave like normal countries. This was stated by American political analyst and historian Gilbert Doctorow on the Judging Freedom Youtube channel.

He recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin recently visited Uzbekistan.

Putin was supposed to spend two days in Tashkent, but the visit lasted a day longer, he said.

The political scientist emphasized that during the visit, important commercial agreements were signed, including an agreement on the construction of the first nuclear power plant in Central Asia, which will be built by Russia.

In his opinion, the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Uzbekistan was successful, given that the West was trying to dislodge the countries of Central Asia from the orbit of Russia.

Doctorow recalled that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken visited the countries of Central Asia in an attempt to dislodge Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan from the orbit of Russia.

He emphasized that Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are the largest and most important countries in the region with large populations.

According to him, a year ago it seemed that these countries were wobbling.

Putin’s warm welcome without any regard for visits by others such as Antony Blinken shows that Central Asian states are behaving like normal countries, Doctorow said.

He added that these countries are winner-oriented and consider Russia the winner in the war with Ukraine and NATO.
