Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Daniel Cristian Ciobanu, took part in the Annual Meeting of Romanian Diplomacy, held on 29-30 August 2023 in Bucharest.

The topic of the meeting was "Romania’s Firm Foreign Policy: Solving Problems and Maximizing Opportunities".

Before the official opening of the meeting, members of the Romanian diplomatic and consular corps were received by the President of Romania, Mr. Klaus Iohannis, and the Prime Minister of Romania, Mr. Marcel Ciolacu.

The Annual Meeting was opened by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Mrs. Luminica Odobescu.

President of the Senate of Romania, Mr. Nicolae Chuca, addressed the Romanian diplomatic and consular corps, as well as the guests of the event during the opening of the meeting.

According to Ambassador Daniel Cristian Cioban, relations between Romania and the Republic of Uzbekistan built on a solid foundation that facilitates their development and diversification.
