Hillel Neuman expressed satisfaction with number of joint cultural events is growing each year. He handed over work of famous Israeli photographer Benunsky.

Uzbek Minister for Culture and Sport Affairs briefed the guest about work, conducted in Uzbekistan to develop culture and sport and achievements in these areas.

At the meeting, the sides considered issues of further developing cooperation in culture sector between two states.

Hillel Neuman said he was satisfied with the meeting with Uzbek Minister. He said that they discussed a programme of joint events for 2013 and further development of cultural-humanitarian cooperation. He said Uzbekistan does a lot to be leader in the area in the Central Asian region.

Ambassador said that Israeli mission in Uzbekistan pays great attention to development of cultural relations. He said that the sides considered several projects, including participation of Israeli musical band at Sharq Taronalari Festival in Samarkand. It is also planned that Shashmaqom band will arrive in Tashkent within the Style.uz festival.

Hillel Neuman said Israel is strengthening and deepening relations with Uzbekistan. He said that the sides are moving forward in culture and other areas.
