The current state and perspective directions of developing bilateral cooperation were considered in light of the implementation of agreements, reached during the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov to India on 17-18 May 2011.
The parties noted that as a result of the negotiations between the leaders of two countries, Uzbek-Indian relations were rendered strategic status, 32 documents in different spheres were signed, and a total amount of the package of economic agreements exceeded US$2.2 billion.
