Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Alokabank has issued ordinary shares amounting to 500 billion soums, according to the Unified Corporate Information Portal.
The bank's Supervisory Board approved the decision on 3 December, and the issuance was registered by state authorities on 11 December. A total of 500 billion securities were issued, each with a nominal value of 1 soum.
The shares will be allocated through a closed subscription, granting existing investors preferential purchase rights.
The remaining shares will be distributed among five individuals: Mahmud Akhmedov, Zoirjon Karimov, Khusanjan Fazilov, Akram Khaydarov, and Shukhrat Yunusaliev.
As of October 2024, Alokabank's authorized capital was 2.01 trillion soums. Following this issuance, the capital will rise to 2.51 trillion soums.
Prior to the issuance, the largest shareholder was the Fund for Reconstruction and Development, holding 61.8% of the shares. Other key shareholders included Uzbektelecom (22.03%), the ICT Development Fund (6.3%), and the Ministry of Economy and Finance (4.32%).
