Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan has signed a decree "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Acts of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Connection with the Improvement of Public Administration in the Field of Youth Policy and Sports."

According to the decree, amendments and additions were made to a number of documents.

The President also instructed improvements to the procedure for the payment of allowances to the basic tariff rate for employees of sports schools.

A new procedure will be established to determine the mahallas where sports grounds will be built, through voting among local residents.

In addition, the head of state instructed the enhancement of the process of constructing and registering sports grounds.

As part of the reforms, measures will be taken to eliminate outdated and duplicate regulations, as well as to address legal gaps in the current decrees and resolutions related to youth policy and sports.
